The LIFE programme is 25 years old
A quarter of a century dedicated to the environment and nature
On 21 May 2017, the European Commission celebrates the 25th anniversary of the LIFE Programme and the Habitat Directive, both approved on 21 May 1992.
To celebrate this important milestone, which marks a quarter of a century since the creation of the "Natura 2000" Protected Areas Network, in May and June the LIFE community is organizing a series of events throughout Europe aimed at telling the many design experiences that have contributed to the preservation of the environment and nature.
