Enzola creek overflowing

On 6 March 2013, as a result of rainfall events, flooding of the Enzola creek has occurred.

On March 6, u.s. Rio Enzola overflowed at the border between the municipalities of Quattro Castella and Bibbiano, affecting homes and industrial buildings.
Because of the overflow was the obstruction of the riverbed by some cut trees and abandoned in the creek bed that formed a dam holding back the debris.
Waters have been removed by the combined action of the technicians of Emilia Centrale Land reclamation and drainage Authority, Fire Department and the municipality of Quattro Castella.
The LIFE+ RII project aims precisely to help resolve these hydraulic problems and improve the ecological state of Enzola creek, as pointed out by Quattro Castella Town’s Mayor, Andrea Tagliavini.
