Visit to Italy of a delegation of Albanian farmers participating in the project

From October 22 to 28, 2018 a study visit was carried out by a delegation of about ten Albanian farmers participating in the project and two stakeholders (Agropuka, Scutari University). In particular, the farm “Il Laghetto” (Ramiseto), specialized in the breeding and production of goat cheeses, the “Torcianti” farm (Collagna) and the “La Fattoria di Tobia” farm (Villa Minozzo) for the breeding and production of pecorino cheeses. The topic of the association was deepened for the creation of the disciplinary through the meeting with the owner of the Comellini Dairy (Castel San Pietro Terme, Bologna), which showed the dairy productions and, in particular, explained the disciplinary of production of Squacquerone di Romagna Dop. A visit was made to the structures and activities of the "Valle dei Cavalieri" Cooperative (Succiso) with training on "Community Cooperative" and enhancement of the territory with representatives of the Cooperative. In addition, the breeders were taken to the pasture areas (Valbona) for a discussion on the care of the common goods.
