Can Croatian energy communities apply for projects taking place in Croatia?

No, projects physically located in Croatia are not eligible for support under this call. While the Expression of interest (section 5) allows for applicants established in Croatia (as one of the EUSAIR EU Member States), it clearly limits (section6)  the geographic scope of eligible investments to the five Western Balkan economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Croatian entities can apply, but only for projects that will be implemented within one of the WB5 countries.
