Food Safety issues for industry during COVID-19
"Food Safety issues for industry during COVID-19" is the 5th #MDnet Webinar that we are holding on Wednesday 20th May 2020.
#COVID19 has changed the way we interact with and produce food. Industries are confronted with many #foodsafety issues due to the virus and the entire industry had to adapt to many
challenges within a short period of time in the production process, by trying to ensure the protection of employee health and a smooth production process. Additionally, changes in #consumerbehavior affect it greatly. Movement of safe food on the market is an essential aspect along the #foodchain to which all actors in the food chain must contribute to preserve consumer confidence.
This #webinar will be performed by Dr. Anita Juric, Assistant Professor at the University of Mostar, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology. She is trained in assessment, evaluation and implementation of EN ISO standards 9001:2008 and HACCP. One of the subjects she teaches is Foodborne Hazards. She has been awarded for the best business idea in the field of "Agriculture and Food Industry" by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2017) and she won the 4th Cycle of Startup Academy in INTERA Technology Park, supported by US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2018).
The webinar will start at 4 p.m. CET until approximately 4:30 p.m. including Q&A
