Development of an integrated hydraulic-environmental regeneration program of in the area under study
The LIFE RINASCE study area is crossed by a network of canals whose ecosystem is strongly altered thus giving rise to a flooding risk for the entire plain.
The LIFE RINASCE project therefore provides for the development of a hydraulic-environmental rehabilitation program based on:
- the basic concepts of water and flood directives to address hydraulic risk and canal ecological status related problems;
- the technical indications emerged from the project design (A2) and estimate of the expected hydraulic-environmental benefits, deriving from these interventions.
The intervention program will be a "living plan", upgradeable both during the project itself and at its end, in the event in which the medium-term results of these regeneration demonstration actions point out these needs.
