Workshop on Agenda 2030 for union officials by WeWorld-GVC
On the occasion of the second Festival of Trade Union Training held in Bologna between 24 and 26 June 2019, the training workshop:
Agenda 2030: Territorial trade union bargaining, sustainable cities and climate change
by WeWorld-GVC, in collaboration with Nexus Emilia Romagna, as part of the European project Shaping fair cities, coordinated by the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The objective of the activity: the workshop aims to inform and train trade union officials involved in territorial bargaining as key players in the implementation and monitoring of Agenda 2030 at the local level. The aim is to raise awareness of the 2030 Agenda, to connect the work they do with the SDGs and to raise awareness of the overall and local institutional framework by pointing to the role of each actor in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in particularly at the local level.
The training activity will focus on two of the Sustainable Development Goals outlined as priorities by the Shaping Fair Cities project, and in particular:
Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities
Goal 13: Climate action

All participants of the Festival (mostly trade unionists, but also students and citizens)

The activity will end with a participatory dynamic to allow participants to relate the work they do with the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda.
