Database

The project database Climate ChangE-R (3.36 MB) (action A2) was prepared by ARPA Emilia-Romagna and contains a collection of technical data of the agricultural systems of Emilia Romagna made available by the project partners. It is data prepared for calculation of the LCA and more generally, of GHG emissions (climate-altering gases), in the specific conditions of the Emilia-Romagna region.

This first version of the database includes both the data collected by the partners before the project (Type 1), and the technical data collected during the first year of activity in 2014 (Type 2).

In more detail, Type 1 data include:

• 3200 production cycles for crops in the project (fruit, vegetables, cereals and fodder crops) with data regarding agronomic information, fertilization and pesticide treatments, collected from 765 farms over the years 2009-2010-2011;
• 7000 chemical analyses of foods and diets from farms in the Emilia-Romagna region; Chemical analysis of 339 bovine slurries;
• 38 BMP bovine assays.

The Type 2 data include a first sample of data collected in the first year of the project in some demonstration farms: two vegetable farms, two fruit farms and one dairy farm.

In the future updates of the database, the information for all demonstration farms will be made available. Within the downloadable .zip file (3.36 MB) in addition to the database, there is descriptive information of the structure and content of the fields.

Before using the database, extract the files to a Windows folder.
